Overall a great experience. The food was good and portion was great. It was a little bit understaffed but once it started the service was great. The fries and other fried food were really crispy.

The staff was incredibly pleasant! We were passing through and traveling with our dog. They were more than happy to let us eat on their patio with our dog and even brought him some water. The service was a bit slow since it seemed as though they only had one server but the food came out very fast and extremely hot! Like it seriously went from grill to plate to table. At one point I saw the server literally run to try and hurry up the service. All the while she was extremely happy, pleasant, and committed to providing the best service possible. If passing through again, I will definitely stop by for another meal. I had the vaquero burger (without the BBQ sauce).

Great food! My husband ended up ordering 2 hamburgers and fries he liked it so much! And he is a very picky eater.. Great service as well. All staff was very friendly

Exactly the atmosphere you'd expect with this name. A friend recommended it for the burgers, and he's right!! We had lunch so not the happy hour atmosphere, and it's family friendly. Some big TVs with sports, but certainly the Western vibe and massive surprise on the flavor and quality of the menu. Visit Buffalo Wyoming for lots of reasons, but include The Cowboy Bar!

Best burgers and fries in town!! Their steak fingers are also good and their onion rings are to die for! The staff is always friendly and the food is consistently delicious. It’s our go to spot in Buffalo.

So super customer service at the bar, perfect! Sorry i didn't get your names. Great food.. My husband and I travel alot and this will definitely be a return visit, will make it a stop even if we have to detour out of the way. Thank you Cowboy Bar and Buffalo WY for being welcoming to us Florida folks.You define America, small town, keeping it simple and affordable despite all that's going on today in the USA and the world.

Rolled into Buffalo, WY yesterday evening just before the snow arrival that kept me in place for an extra day. I was staying just up the road from The Cowboy Bar and Grill a place I decided to go to after researching for the best local burger in Buffalo. I decided to order “to go” because of my travel partner Shyla. I found this to be a very friendly place for locals and “passer throughs” like me. Pleasant staff and a fun place to look around while waiting for the order. After declining a tempting beverage. I was served a “shot” of iced water and a smile while I waited. Got back to my room and opened the “to go” box. Inside were handcut fries and pickles beside a juicy swiss and mushroom burger. One bite in and I was glad I walked into the Cowboy Bar and Grill. Absolutely delicious and well prepared! If you are yearning for a burger, this is theee place.
